The Pierre de Béchillon-Boraud estate lies near the valley of the River Né within Grande Champagne, one of the Cognac region's leading growths. Spread out over the hillsides of a compact valley, the vineyards' favourable exposure to sunlight and breezes enables an optimal temperature to be maintained throughout the year. The chalky subsoil, soft and porous, lets the vine roots reach down deep to find a reliable, steady source of water. This helps the grapes ripen properly and develop great aromatic complexity. The grapes grown in this unique terroir yield wines and then eaux-de-vie that flourish harmoniously as they age, forming the basis of beautifully balanced blends.
