ABERLOUR WHISKY WAS BORN IN THE SPEYSIDE VILLAGE OF ABERLOUR, MADE WITH LOCAL SPRING WATER FROM THE BEN RINNES AND BARLEY, NOW LOCALLY SOURCED FROM THE FIELDS NEAR OUR DISTILLERY.

LET THE CASKS ADD DEPTH

WE MATURE THIS SINGLE MALT IN THREE DIFFERENT TYPES OF CASKS: THE EUROPEAN OAK SHERRY CASK AND TWO DIFFERENT TYPES OF AMERICAN OAK CASKS. THEIR RICH FLAVOURS INFUSE OUR WHISKY OVER TIME.

CASG ANNAMH MEANS "RARE CASK" IN GAELIC BECAUSE WE HANDPICK OUR SPANISH OLOROSO SHERRY CASKS FROM THE SAME REGION IN SPAIN AS 30 YEARS AGO, FILLING THEM WITH OUR WHISKY. THESE CASKS HAVE A SIGNIFICANT INFLUENCE ON THE LIQUID MAKING OF CASG ANNAMH THE PERFECT INTRODUCTION TO SHERRY CASK MATURATION.

THE LOOK IS GOLDEN AMBER.

THE AROMA IS RICH WITH TANGY ORANGE, GLAZED CHERRIES AND NOTES OF GINGER.

THE TASTE IS SWEET WITH APPLES, PEACHES, A TOUCH CINNAMON AND

THE FINISH IS SMOOTH AND SWEET WITH A HINT OF OF SPICY LIQUORICE. SPICE.
